Our  farm is located in Corces, next to Silandro, in the beautiful Venosta valley between Resia pass and the thermal town of Merano. The valley is famous as one of the driest areas of South Tyrol, that offers mostly sunny days (above 300 sun days per year). The Venosta valley is also the orchard of South Tyrol: wine, strawberries, apricots and mostly apples come from this area. The valley is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Ortler group (Ortles) and of the Ötztal Alps.

In this unique mountain landscape, in the middle of the massive Venosta apple orchards, you'll find Waalhof. Our holiday apartment, rooms and mini-apartments offer a wonderful view on the fascinating mountain world of the Venosta valley, known in the local dialect of Vinschgau. Venosta valley and the National Park of Stelvio are two of the most important sightseeing destinations of the region. The alpine panorama offers a wonderful scenario to go walking, trekking, biking, mountain biking and running.

On our farm every season holds a peculiar charm. Not only are the tasks on the farm in the course of a year diversified but also nature is.
